I can't believe this but thank you.
I was recently nominated for an award at my work, The Cobalt Group, and I just have to say thank you so much. It means a lot to read something like this and I cannot say enough about the individuals that I get to work with every day, the atmosphere, and the day in day out work that I get to do. To this I say thank you.
Here is what someone made up about me... "Shane initiated new GM promotional processes in the areas of operations, billing and execution of materials. Consistently working at retail speed (4-8 hours for those unfamiliar) when the only thing consistent is change. This year alone Shane has stewarded over 180 promotions for Chevy, Cadillac, GMC, Buick, Certified Used, Service & Parts, OnStar, Saturn, Hummer and Saab. A valuable extension for the Detroit based team ensuring the business needs are met within each delivery. Recently, Shane fought hard for one of the business goals to develop a lead form on promotional landing pages. It benefits both the brand supported promotions and now dealer funded digital ad packages. Once implemented, the landing pages showed immediate improvement in lead conversion. Boosting the program value for Chevy, Cadillac, Buick, GMC and their dealers. He continues to provide result based recommendations for future improvements. Focused on A/B lead form improvements, message/functionality improvements and helping agencies to build smart creative elements. We have come a long way from print ads being online. He brings energy and a “take on the world” attitude daily. When Shane stepped into the GM promotional world there wasn’t a map let alone a vehicle to ride in. We now feel the team is riding in a well tuned 6.2L V8 Camaro SS, charting the course for 2010 and listening to Shane sing Chicken Fried."
